Fresh Times

Look here for some fun and fresh facts from your Sandy Butler and Shoals crew.

In today’s economy, you want to be sure you get your money’s worth, whether it’s at the gas station or a neighborhood restaurant. With today’s technology it’s very easy to do just that. Whenever my fiancé, Rachel, and I go out to dinner and want to try someplace new but don't want to be disappointed, we turn to our smartphones. There are so many apps out there today that do just that, but the one we use the most to find the best area restaurants is ZAGAT. Although its not free like say the TripAdvisor app, the ZAGAT app is extremely easy to use and the reviews are much more accurate. Once we have made our choice we turn to another app, OpenTable.com, to make sure we have a table when we get there. Using today’s food apps helps make your night out an enjoyable one. By the way, you will find The Sandy Butler Market and
Shoals Restaurant & Wine Bar on both of these apps.

Ok, so we're into the first few months of the new year, and to some of us this may mean relief. To others, indifference. Either way, we shall all move through 2012 with a sense of caution, if not uneasiness, I would expect. At least that is how I feel these days. So I suggest California merlot wine and American cheddar. Why? Simple, to support the troops so to speak. Let’s keep our support on home base. We have to believe in our talented countrymen/women. We have talent in this country. Let’s bring back that wonderful merlot. Pinot was great for a while, no doubt, but let’s get back to our roots. I love this country. We don’t want change really. What we want is good, comfort food like pot pies, merlot wine, and American cheddars. By the way, this is all sold or produced at The Sandy Butler Market. Thanks for listening.
